Synod
Synod reads your journal through a set of value agents and writes their disagreements back into the vault as a bulletin.
Independent plugin design and development. TypeScript, Obsidian and configurable language-model backends.
Each agent holds one value, and the readings stay separate until a compiler has all of them to compare. That's where the tension shows up. The compiler doesn't get to smooth it over.
It imports entries from folders or supported journal exports, finds candidate values, and uses those to drive the analysis. Ollama is the default, and OpenRouter or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint works too.
The bulletin lands in the vault, so it's something you can read later and argue with.
State
A released Obsidian plugin with importers, value discovery and a bulletin pipeline. It offers competing readings and no compromise.
