# Watzon

A Discord bot for the OCE Echo VR community, which pulled league data into the server so nobody had to open a website for it.

Independent development. Java, JDA and the VR Master League API.

Team, player, rankings and match commands, with JDA handling Discord and separate Java objects for the league data. Replies came back as embeds with enough team context to be useful in a conversation.

Earlier packaged versions live in WatzonOld. Same community, same API, so I count them as one project.

## State

A working bot from 2022. Echo VR's servers shut down in 2023, so the lookups don't return anything now.
