# L-system Generator

An L-system editor: write the rules, set the angle and the iteration count, and watch a turtle turn the string into geometry.

Independent development. JavaFX, turtle geometry and OBJ export.

![Original JavaFX screenshot showing the L-system controls beside a dense green branching structure.](https://cdn.sanity.io/images/qnuj1c4o/production/18412f795f5cbbbfce27666c083b15d5bca1e180-2370x1480.png?w=1920\&q=80\&auto=format)

The generated string is kept separate from the turtle that walks it, which is what made the OBJ export possible, and edges get recorded as the turtle moves so the file opens in Blender as lines.

Systems save and load, so a rule set you like doesn't have to be retyped. The 3D mesh from those triangles is still unfinished.

## State

The editor and the flat export work. Extruding it in Blender is the usual next step.
